One piece: Marineford Arc Review. VanishingBow 07/31/15. Eiichiro Oda creator of one piece was able to create a war that met my expectations. Going in I heard so many great things about this arc a lot of people said that this was the greatest arc ever, this was the best one piece arc hands down. The fourteenth season of the One Piece anime series was produced by Toei Animation,. It contains two story arcs. The first is. The season deals with the war between the Marines and Whitebeard's pirates. Focusing on Luffy, Jimbei and the escaped convicts from Impel Down as they infiltrate Marineford to save Ace.

Ohayo guys this blog will be covering my first reaction and thoughts towards this specific one piece arc 'Marineford' I recently watched please reassure before you go on ahead it is not recommend if you haven't watched this series because this contains a lot of spoilers also please mind some parts aren't good because of my english and yes I know I am way behind XD in one piece episodes, without further a due let's begin :)

It's impossible to explain how

Eiichiro Oda creator of one piece was able to create a war that met my expectations. Going in I heard so many great things about this arc a lot of people said that this was the greatest arc ever, this was the best one piece arc hands down. Hell I was even spoiled about the deaths of Portgas D Ace and White Bread and I still came out of this arc with a red face from all the grieving I've done. I came out with a beating heart upon watching all the pirates aim to save ace. Whitebeard showing feats that nobody else has shown and a character that is so impactful and unique that I regard him already with all the respect I gained for him in one arc, one of my favourite characters of all time.

We see some major twist seeing black bread take the thrown so maliciously after doing all the things he previously did. And seeing shanks put a end to this crazy..epic.. Just amazing war. This arc was simply a master piece I have never seen an arc this good. It's a war that fulfilled all the potential and expectations that come with all the big names this arc used. Marineford made me a one piece fan.

Oars the giant went to save ace countless times after building a bond with ace via a hat. Countless times was he shot down , impaled on his knees and after everything all he could think about was ace And he was only the opener. The emotions flowing through my body after seeing Garp say ' I have no sympathy for criminals but I do for my family' Garp is a interesting figure himself he really does hold his responsibilities to the marines and as you know the marines are opposing forces to the pirates so ace being a pirate it almost seemed in a away that he couldn't help. Seeing some of the things he did in this arc for instances after akainu put a f***ing whole through ace he told sengoku himself keep me down ' I'm going to rip his skull out' seeing him say those words it just goes to show you that he does care at the end of the day.

In addition when I saw characters like crocodile actually help out and work with luffy was kinda of a relief because all of these forces were going against luffy but the people that luffy previously fought with, and I'm not gonna lie if luffy doesn't become the pirate king through strength he's going to become the pirate king through having the entire world as his friend.

When luffy was repeatedly getting struck down ace kept telling him to run away leave. Luffy: 'I'm your little brother' aw man it doesn't stop the sh*t doesn't stop. After white beard had his forces go in and help luffy out, everything that luffy went through, even his own family member being a obstacle in his path to saving ace after everything luffy went through he still wasn't able to save..his brother. The intensity was just so great.

Seeing one of white beards men swardo stab white beard himself after it took an entire navy just to stand at equally footing with his crew was just so crazy cause this guy white beard it's the guy that is hyped up ever since the beginning of the arc and now one of his own men put a sword right through him. But that didn't stop white beard he went and put his arm out grabbed swardo hugged him and gave him a speech about how he was important to him...wow that's a real man right there that was some of the saddest sh*t ever. On top all the burdens whitebeard has he has to deal with his own crew members betraying him and he still shows love. The amount of respect I gained for whitebeard in one arc is just unimaginable. He so selfless.

When ace died the character that means so much to luffy it was truly heart breaking what made it more sad was the reaction from the people around ace not ace himself dying wasn't the saddest part about it. Seeing Garp being held down saying 'you better not let go of me'. Oda is like a expert at making people cry it'll make like other bunch of characters crying than you start crying,like I mean have you guys ever cryed over a f**k***boat? cause I know I did in this series and it hasn't happen before. And than white beard after seeing his child ace get killed finally steps in to do what he wanted to do for the longest, the reason why didn't go in before is cause his own powers are so powerful that he'd hurt his own crew. So when white bread jumped in I was just argh kill f**k*** akainu take his face than squash it and whitebeard does that. He goes to Akainu from his back and starts beating him so strong that his fist aight even touching him his energy is touching him not his fist, and he just keeps getting treated like a ragdoll.

Imagine what he could do his prime, he just smashed the s**t out of an admiral subsequently after all of that a huge twist occurs, black beard and his crew appear out of no where after black beard went to impel down to get shiliew..aww man like it's sad to cause these are whitebeards children in his eyes to some extent like all of these people that white beard is a custom to are the cause to all of these things, like black beard if it wasn't for him this whole war wouldn't have gone down so if you think about it's like his children are killing each other of. To see his children die before him an old man it's like you know not a good feeling and his number one rule was broken black beard killed a crew mate than left. But after everything white beard went through he still went on to beat the crap out of black beard.

Black beard survives shoots white beard a 100x with his crew, white beard dies standing. Aww man his last speech about the one piece, shaking the world, him never getting a scar on his back , him getting shot 100x after being already Injured, him caring so much for his crew, him showing feats and him be so hyped up so much really makes white beard one of the greatest ever and his character was never degraded, I was spoiled already I'm like there's no way white beard can end of epically I was telling myself that but no he dies epically.

And after all that black beard toke white beards earthquake abilities here I could tell because I predicted it because before I was like what could he want from whitebeards body. Blackbeard has now two of the strongest devil fruits In the verse, he is the strongest in the era now.

And it doesn't stop there shanks appears out of no where in an epic fashion and he ends of the war that was suppose to end awhile ago. The war had ended perfectly so this war had everything monumental moments, redeeming moments with characters, big deaths, story wise everything perfectly the war was formatted amazingly. Seeing all of these characters being used in this war you'd think that the war would not reach it's potential but it does now just overall after pretty much worshipping this arc I'm really interested to see how black beard will use his new powers, what will he do with these powers and what are his motives at the end of day it's kind of clear what his motives are but I mean now he's in control of this era. This brings us to a conclusion.. This arc made me a true one piece fan.
